New page layout is online !
Submitted by marcin on Fri 26-Mar-2010
During few last weeks I was working on refreshing this site. Yesterday I have decided, that beta version is "good enough" to be published. And here it is !
This is naturally not the end.
In next days I will work on some pending minor things (like setting better categories for posts, improving formatting in some articles or adding some old articles/pages) and later create new articles and sections :)
Any comments or suggestions ?

Submitted by marcin on Mon 28-Dec-2009
Content moved from gammu.org blog Few words from me... We're ending 2009 year. Some summary, plans and similar.
I was thinking a lot about developing for Maemo 5 (Nokia N900) platform. Unfortunately, in my opinion this is wasting time in this moment (or at least I can't pay for it in 100% from my money).

Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! - X-Fi dla każdego! (2009)
Submitted by marcin on Wed 16-Dec-2009

Submitted by marcin on Wed 09-Dec-2009
Kilka dni temu opublikowana została kolejna stabilna wersja FARa będącego obecnie darmowym (szerzej zostanie to wyjaśnione dalej) klonem Norton Commandera działającym w Windows.

Submitted by marcin on Wed 11-Nov-2009

Windows 7 – odgrzewany kotlet ? (2009)
Submitted by marcin on Thu 29-Oct-2009
Skazany na sukces ?W 2007 roku Microsoft wprowadza nowy system. Opinie o nowym systemie są dosyć pozytywne, natomiast negatywne są krytykowane (chociażby raport Petera Gutmanna nt. DRM).

Why you should not touch Windows 6.x and Linux (2009)
Submitted by marcin on Sun 11-Oct-2009
I’m using various operating systems for making some tasks. In this article I will show, that some solutions used in currently in the most popular or known (in my opinion) operating systems are obsolete. I hope that it will start some discussion here and there…
To be clear: I don’t think, that everything everywhere is wrong. But Windows environment seems to collapse after Windows XP and we still won’t have Linux too popular in desktops (because of some fundamental problems). Details are provided below.

This document contains summary of various disadvantages available in Windows Vista collected from various sources and own experiences. I hope, that this page become popular and somebody from MS decide about eliminating some of described here issues in next Windows version.
Although for some users this system can be good and although author likes some new features inside, generally doesn't recommend this system now.

N82 review (2008)

Battery
The more advanced phone, the shortest battery life. This is how we can describe devices created by Nokia and many other manufacturers. My question is: can't be created and produced for example 1600 mAh batteries (like in PDA) for them ?

Hi,
In the time, when we have various widely commented things on the world (Olimpic Games in China, ACTA regulations about ending P2P, Microsoft Windows Vista), Gammu history still can continue (although it's difficult - see info here) and continues.
Today there was released new release 0.40 for Gammu+. It brings new important features:

I would like to speak shortly about differences between Gammu and Gammu+ now. This will be linked from main page. This is my opinion and you don't have to agree with it...
First Gammu - released with GPL2 license is currently lead by Michal. Quite big and supporting many devices. You can have worse support in Windows than earlier and I don't like some things inside, but development goes forward. Michal will give probably also less for Nokia devices than I.

Gammu+ 0.38 is out. I have added configure script, which can enable Bluez AFTER USER ACTION. You have written many times, that source after patching is GPL2 licensed. Please note, that in my opinion it doesn't break GPL2 - if you will have patched source, you can remove Bluez driver (yes, this can be very easy separated) and release source under other license:
"If identifiable sections of that work are not derived from the Program,
