This page describes keypad codes in Nokia phones.

There are given numeric representation, but also codes using chars. How to read them ?

Look, where you have char on phone keypad and press numeric key connected with it. And the same for each next. Example: *efr0# = *3370#

Show firmware version, firmware date and in new models language package details (in new models it's rather used only *#0000#, in older like Nokia 2110 - codes from second group, in other older - codes contains model number like from third group)

*#date# (*#3283#) Show date of production (Nokia 2110)
*#bta0# (*#2820#) Show Bluetooth info (address and sometimes other)
*#mac0wlan# (*#62209526#) Show MAC address of the WLAN adapter
*#war0anty# (*#92702689#) *#warranty# (*#92772689#) Enter Warranty menu. Values for this menu can be changed using for example flashers. In Nokia 3110 required additional numbers and OK:
  • 6232 : Display Month and Year of Manufacture
  • 7332 : Display date of the last repairing, if found ('DATE NOT SAVED'...)
  • 7832 : Display date when the phone was purchased ('DATE NOT SAVED'...)
  • 9268 : Display Serial Number
  • 37832 : Set the Purchasing Date MMYY (Warning: You can only do this once)
  • 87267 : Transfers ALL phone numbers, pictures, sounds from one phone to another

GSM phones specific

*#06# Show phone IMEI
#pw+MasterCode+Y# Code for disabling simlock level Y. If MasterCode is correct, you will see "SIM protection turn off". If code was wrong or counter is locked (too many tries of using with incorrect code) or there is no simlock you will see "Code error". In some models, when phone is not simlocked, you can see "SIM was not restricted".
TIP: to check simlock state better use software (like Gammu) or check if phone work with SIM card from other network. When counter is locked, you have to unlock phone using flashers or similiar tools.
