New test Gammu+ available. I have implemented encoding majority of phonebook & calendar support (over SMS), encoding WAP push and todo (over SMS too). Next will be preview of encoded entries, maybe editing too...

Yes. Editing. Do you think, that anyone need this software ? I'm thinking something, looking sometimes into gammu.org history and think, that it become maybe popular, but it's like ReactOS and many other (treat as toys).

Gammu+ 0.22.00 available. Released, because diff file was too big ;-) Among various bugfixes and improvements I would like to notify especially, that during restoring software inform, what from pbk wasn't restored and why.

I must say, that it's near such point, that I have everything for personal usage. For quite new phones you have:

pbk support (excluding caller groups, ringtones, sms lists, voice tags and few other, which are IDs for some phone memory places, everything is like in Gammu 1.09.00 or even better)

1.09.15 is out. Mainly fixes, but added experimental Motorola source too...

0.16.00 is out. Many changes including getting SMS from single folders, getting MMS (decoder is not complete in some parts like decoding MMS subfiles headers or doesn't have DRM, but even now it works much better than in Gammu), faster phonebook/SMS/MMS/filesystem operations (it has cache).

Well, this report will be rather personal. I write it here, because it's connected with development too...

studies: I'm waiting for 2 results, 2 things to write (and pass)
work: I should (or rather: I have to) go somewhere to practise. I had company, but this is probably not actual. So, I don't have any job place for now. I will have to search again for it.

Michal has just released new stable Gammu and I'm very happy from it (although in the same time I don't agree with some changes inside...). I have read some his older blog entries and have some comments too...

But let's start from beginning ;-). I have created final version of my diploma work and now I'm waiting for exam connected with it (all other connected with "real" studies were passed). In meantime I got job too (at least for now...).

There has been Gammu+ 0.28 released. There is promised shared MMS/SMS API inside and some other changes. This is still test release, but there is next big step into first stable version done. If somebody will want, I will allow for using it under GPL/LGPL3 (and this is not possible for Gammu without "+").

Next test release - this week/weekend. What will be next in this project, depends mainly on Michal Cihar.

I'm working on real MMS decoder (this moved from Gammu is not too good). Can anyone send me as many example MMS as possible ? (I know, I know, that there are some softwares for creating, but this is not the same...) It will be treat confidential and not published.

I have started MMS viewer too (GUI already can work without phone).

New Gammu is ready. Included all known bugfixes, updated SMS source and some other.

gammu.org has got MediaWiki upgraded to 1.8.x tree. Almost everything (all extensions, functions, etc.) is updated. Please report, if there are any problems with it...

It was week of silence. Because of it I decided to write this report.

First I will say about facts - I was trying to explain reason of repeating Windows BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER. I had given up. Tomorrow my private PC will go to service. I hope, that they will do their job without additional problems, which are here visible in companies very often. Everything next will depend on it (especially on tomorrow day). I hope to explain some other things during this week too :-)
